Zaptag Emergency Record Cards & Bracelets. Connect to a PC's USB port in an emergency to allow medical staff to read key information, such as name, blood type, insurance documentation and next of kin details. This allows medical staff to make informed decisions quickly and accurately, when it matters most. Zaptag is a small rugged and water resistant USB drive powered by Sandisk USA that can be accessed by most computers worldwide. The main Emergency Record page, displayed whenever you attach Zaptag to a PC's USB port, holds all of your key information, such as your name, blood type, and next of kin details. In an emergency situation, this provides accurate and essential data, allowing medical staff to make informed decisions quickly and accurately. In addition to vital emergency information , Zaptag can contain further medical documents or images, and personal general files such as photographs and Mp3 files. The Zaptag USB drive is unique in that files can be password protected, on a drive that is rugged and water resistant. All data can be encrypted and password-protected. The SanDisk USB Flash Drive also features a specially designed plastic cap for the USB fitting, which may be attached to a key ring, necklace or purse. In addition, the cap features a unique latching mechanism that securely holds the USB drive in place and prevents accidental dislodging. Zaptag incorporates Windows-compatible software that enables the holder to store and manage potentially lifesaving emergency information.
